Acuity, Inc. President and CEO Rui Garcia Honored as SECAF Finalist

Reston, VA – (September 29, 2020) – The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) has chosen Acuity, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Rui Garcia as a finalist for its Government Contractor Executive of the Year award. SECAF is the premier organization supporting small and emerging government contractors. The award is new this year and recognizes an executive who has shown a compelling and profound commitment to excellence within their company, community, and the government contracting industry.

Acuity, Inc. is a top federal technology consulting firm headquartered in Reston, Virginia and founded by Mr. Garcia in 2002. Mr. Garcia has over two decades of experience in information technology consulting working with public sector clients.

Mr. Garcia has successfully led Acuity from a small government contractor to a large business.  He is a multi-year recipient of the SmartCEO Future 50 Award, as well as the Washington Technology Fast 50, which recognizes the fastest growing companies in the Washington metro area. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.
