At Acuity, we’re committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. Not only do we sponsor and participate in events on a corporate level, but our colleagues take an active role in supporting our communities individually as well.

Food For Others Virtual 5K
Food for Others obtains and distributes free food to the hungry of Northern Virginia and supports food programs of other community-based organizations. They are part of Northern Virginia’s safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes, and for the growing number of working poor who are unable to make ends meet and need to supplement their inadequate food supplies.
Each year, Food for Others holds a 5K to raise funds and hunger awareness. In 2020, Acuity employees rallied to participate in their virtual 5K. Employees were encouraged to share pictures of themselves supporting the cause.
