The Department referenced in this case study has hundreds of offices around the globe, and was dealing with issues caused by platform sprawl. ServiceNow was purchased and used in pockets across the Department along with other platforms, and these siloed instances resulted in excessive cost, inefficiencies and untapped technical capital. Departmental leadership desired to consolidate platforms, more efficiently manage cost and optimize platform capabilities to improve constituent services.
THE SOLUTION
Acuity partnered with ServiceNow to evolve ServiceNow’s Government Community Cloud and implement the Department’s desired cloud environment, consolidating platform oversight across the enterprise. With this solution, the Department has reduced costs, centralized governance, and gained operational efficiencies. Acuity’s architecture enables enhanced security, allowing for multiple levels of control at the Departmental level as well as the Bureau and Office level.
