Acuity offers ITSM Current State Assessments to evaluate organizational structure, assess existing processes and compare the current state reality against the industry standard ITIL framework. Then, utilizing each of these inputs, our highly trained and experienced team maps specific ITSM tool sets to each of the most pressing organizational challenges.

ITSM Assessment Services

Acuity’s thorough ITSM Assessment service provides a comprehensive evaluation of an organization’s IT Service Management capabilities to establish an accurate baseline from which each organization can measure progress.

ITSM Assessment services are a great first step for clients seeking to embark on significant service and workflow improvements but not sure what to expect or how much resourcing will be required.

The ITSM Assessment Process

Through a series of focused conversations with key stakeholders and Q&A interviews with both process and technical staff, Acuity’s ITSM Assessment team can evaluate multiple aspects of an operating environment at once to provide a holistic view and documented report of the “as-is” status. Acuity’s ITSM team evaluates the underlying ITSM tool architecture, the current configuration of applications, and the maturity of each supporting process area.

Vendor Agnostic Analysis and Recommendations

Regardless of whether a client is using BMC Remedy products, ServiceNow or Cherwell, Acuity’s ITSM Assessments analyze the architecture, configuration and processes driving their unique system implementation environment.

System Architecture & Application Configuration

Acuity collects and analyzes existing documentation such as architecture diagrams, security plans, and change management documentation.

Acuity reviews the configuration of production applications and analyzes foundational data such as organization and support structure, sites, categorization and the product catalog.  Application customizations are also thoroughly reviewed to determine if the requirement can be satisfied with product features available in an upcoming release.

ITIL Process

Acuity assesses the maturity level of each Process Area with the goal of uncovering weaknesses and identifying opportunities for improvement.  Process documentation, roles and responsibilities, and policy and procedure documentation is reviewed.
