Reston, VA – (March 28, 2018) – Acuity, Inc., a leading federal management and technology consulting firm, has announced that they have won a new contract at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to support the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP).
This work will support TSA’s mission to strengthen aviation security and optimize the effectiveness of TSA’s canine team.
TSA’s NEDCTP manages, deploys, and supports more than 1000 explosives detection canine teams across the country to identify, detect, and deter threats to our nation’s transportation systems.
The NEDCTP is currently the largest explosives detection canine team program in DHS, and the second largest in the federal government to the Department of Defense Military Work Dog Program. Canine teams complete intensive training, and after graduation undergo an extensive recertification process each year.
Acuity will be providing flexible Agile development services to support the government’s move to Agile and lean IT delivery approaches. The team will support a variety of IT development projects for the NEDCTP.
