Rui Garcia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acuity, Inc.
With decades of experience in Management and Information Technology Consulting, Rui has worked with many clients from both the public sector and the commercial marketplace. In 2020, Rui was named Executive of the Year by the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF).
Prior to founding Acuity, Rui worked for Oracle Corporation overseeing the International Services Vertical within Oracle’s Civilian Government Sector. He also worked at Lotus Development Corporation in Cambridge, MA, where he was responsible for establishing alliance partners with whom he jointly marketed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
Rui holds a Master of Business Administration from The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.

Ben has over three decades of experience implementing growth strategies, business processes, and technology systems that deliver optimal corporate performance.
In his role as COO, Ben is responsible for maintaining current operations, policies, and procedures to ensure Acuity is able to serve its federal customers effectively. He also brings new ideas to ensure Acuity is well positioned to continue its growth.
Throughout his career, Ben has held variety of different roles such as marketing, proposals, accounting, finance, program management, systems implementation and operations in several industries including government contracting, conference and trade show management, program management training, and architecture. His deep experience and understanding of each functional area in a business makes him uniquely qualified to serve as Acuity’s COO.
Ben holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BASc from the University of Virginia

As Vice President of Contracts, Dean Brunk serves as Acuity’s primary point of contact for all contractual matters and plays an integral role in building business relationships.
As an attorney, licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia, Dean has worked in the government contracts legal field for over 20 years. Dean practiced law in Washington, DC prior to working at General Dynamics, and most recently as Vice President and General Counsel for Solers, an information technology company in the DC area
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University and a JD and MBA from Stetson University.
Interesting Facts: Dean has been to all 50 states, speaks enough Italian to order an espresso, and once hiked across the border from Argentina to Chile to eat potato chips.
Jannie is Acuity’s Ethics Officer and Vice President of Human Resources. She brings more than 30 years of experience related to people management and human resources.
Jannie continually utilizes information technology to create a solid HR infrastructure for Acuity. As a proactive leader with proven success building cohesive, high-performing teams, Jannie is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Acuity’s employee acquisition and retention programs. These programs support benefits administration, HR compliance, employee relations, career development, performance management, education and training development. She also leads the talent acquisition team in developing recruiting activities that leverage best practices for quickly attracting exceptional employees.
During her career, Jannie has held human resources roles at previous employers in the DC Metropolitan area include URS (formerly EG&G and now Aecom), Keane Federal Systems, Edgemark, and Pioneer Technologies
Jannie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Interesting Facts: In her spare time Jannie enjoys visiting the Potomac River. She is an avid book enthusiast, cook and entertainer.
Oksana Fiedler is a Vice President at Acuity, leading Acuity’s National Security portfolio. She is responsible for driving new business growth within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice. In this role, she also oversees a variety of complex technology projects.
Oksana’s experience makes her uniquely qualified to lead the National Security portfolio. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in technical program management for both the federal government and private industry. Prior to joining Acuity in 2009, she supported private industry IT audits and large federal projects at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Oksana also proudly served as a U.S. Army Aviation Officer and Pilot for the AH-64A Apache Helicopter.
Oksana holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
As Vice President, Eric Holbrook leads Acuity’s Financial Services Portfolio. With over two decades working with Federal agencies, Eric is very familiar with the nuances of Federal IT systems. He also utilizes his experience working for tech startups, which focused on software development and e-commerce systems consulting.
During his time at the Department of State, Eric led large organizational projects, including modernizing visa and passport systems, deploying Active Directory at State and the consolidation of enterprise network and systems. As projects turned into programs, he was able to network across bureaus to help instill culture change and increase technology adoption.
Eric joined Acuity in 2009 and has steadily increased his responsibilities over the years. He enjoys building and supporting high functioning teams and executing successful projects. Eric holds a BA in Geography from the Mary Washington College, and an MBA from the University of Florida, which he received while working full-time.
Interesting Facts: Loves to travel, golf, and ski with his family. Avid follower of indie music, attends live shows whenever possible.
KC is a Vice President at Acuity, leading the intelligence business unit. He is responsible for helping intelligence agencies adopt an agile mindset, while still ensuring secure, confidential operations. KC has more than 20 years of management experience delivering and exceeding organizational expectations and driving continuous improvement to drive Mission impact.
During his career, he has served in a variety of roles, including directing program strategy, managing teams, and overseeing projects. Prior to joining Acuity, KC was the Application Solutions Operating Group Vice President for CACI, responsible for managing a large portfolio of multi-billion-dollar programs within the Intelligence Community.
KC earned a Bachelor of Computer Science and holds an active Project Management Professional certification in addition to certifications in ITIL, Microsoft MCSE, Security+, and SharePoint Administration.
Interesting facts: enjoys outdoor activities including boating, camping, skiing, scuba diving, and motorcycling.
Matt is Vice President leading Acuity’s Foreign Affairs business unit which supports government entities including the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development. With 25 years of experience in federal contracting, Matt has been a pivotal figure in expanding Acuity’s footprint in diplomatic technology. Since joining Acuity in February 2020 as a Managing Director, he has overseen the Foreign Affairs portfolio, managing Application Services delivery for the Department of State’s Systems Integration Office.
Matt’s extensive background includes managing large programs in federal health IT, digital transformation for aviation safety, and cloud and application development services in diplomatic technology. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in driving innovation and excellence within Acuity’s Foreign Affairs business unit.
A graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Matt is known for his commitment to excellence and his ability to lead complex projects.
